Checks your META tags for content and best performance.
The free service is very helpful if you know something about web robots or "spiders".
The checker looks for the "right" size contents in your title, description and keywords tags.
Other checkers generally compare against a good minimum but allow you to use the maximum number of characters defined by the robot guide.
However, the "right" size is somewhere around 70% of the max.

There are only a half dozen important search engines and indexes.
The "hundreds" that web submitters submit you too are mostly email lists and spammer sites.
Letting them submit you is voluntarily signing up for spam. Don't do it. Updated January 2003. |
